A lot of discussion went into who we were going to cross Metallics MVP with this year, and to say we're excited about this cross is an understatement! If you're looking for a foal that has a pedigree packed with proven performance, cow, athleticism, and trainability this is the one.
Roasting is a proven Open-level performer with $234k LTE. He is a son of Hottish and out of Betty Greyble by Stylish Rey — a powerful maternal family that has produced over $500k in earners,
On the bottom side, Time to be MVP is sired by Metallics MVP, an NCHA Open World Champion, over $345k LTE and producing some wicked offspring. Out of a NRCHA money earning daughter by One Time Pepto. If our colt from last year is any indicator then Ruby is going to produce some talented offspring.

Didn't I say this was going to be one of our biggest years yet? This foal is one of our most anticipated crosses of 2027. A foal that will combine proven cow, athleticism, versatility, and some of the strongest performance bloodlines in the industry.
Travelin Jonez is a $197k LTE performer and NRCHA Million Dollar Sire, by the legendary Smart Chic Olena and out of Travelin With Sass by Travalena. He made his mark as a competitor by winning the NRCHA Open Stakes. His offspring are now proving themselves across the arena and knocking on the door of $2.0 million in recorded progeny earnings.
On the bottom side, PLL Metal Rey brings a strong maternal line packed full of proven performers. She is by the renowned Dual Reyish, a $452k LTE earner and sire of over $3 million in progeny earnings. Her dam, Mekitty is by Metallic Cat, one of the most influential sires in the cutting and cow horse industry.
This pedigree is packed with the names we love! It may be hard to convince us to let this one go.
The Notorious B I G X Corona Advised
Speed and power is the name of the game with this cross! The combination of a proven rope horse with a mare carrying some serious race-bred speed, all packed into one exceptional pedigree.
The Notorious B I G, aka “Bigs,” is a $110k+ earner in the heeling and an Open Heeling Reserve World Champion. He is by the legendary CD Lights, an NCHA and NRCHA Million Dollar Sire, and out of NFR heel horse DT Sugar Chex Whiz, the 2019 AQHA/PRCA Horse of the Year. Bigs has proven himself in the roping pen, but perhaps most importantly, has a kind, willing disposition and a phenomenal mind.
On the bottom side, Corona Advised brings an entirely different kind of proven performance pedigree. She is sired by Best Advice, a SI 105 stallion with over $750k in progeny earnings, and is out of a foundation-bred daughter of Quatro Dry Drift. Cora is a barn favorite for her sweet personality and easy-going attitude.
We expect this foals to have the size, bone, speed, athleticism, and, most importantly, the kind of mind that makes them enjoyable to train and easy to get along with. This is a cross with the potential to make the kind of horse that will flat-out get noticed.

Silverado Dbl Dualin X Blue Boonberries
This is a cross for the people looking for a bang-up all-around horse. Big bone, beautiful looks, athletic ability, and most importantly, an exceptional mind and personality. And maybe roan, if this foal is anything like its full sibling, “Dual Boonberries,” born in 2026.
Silverado Dbl Dualin is a money-earning rope horse (limited showing), sired by Dual Smart Rey and out of an NCHA money-earning Smooth As A Cat mare. He has the size, bone, athleticism, and the easiest personality.
Blue Boonberries is the star of the show around Craterview Horse Park — although it may be a close competition between her and her blue roan daughter, “Lolli,” for who we get asked the most questions about by visitors. We purchased “Blue” from 3-Hangin-3 Quarter Horses, a program we have long admired. We jumped at the opportunity to purchase her because, like everyone else who owns one of her babies, we knew she produced some absolute standouts. Blue is a calm, easy-going mare who consistently passes that wonderful disposition on to her foals. Her sire, CGOS Pepto Quixote, was a twin brother to Royal Blue Quixote of the Pitzer Ranch and went on to produce nearly $500K in progeny earnings.
We expect this foal to be beautiful, big-boned, athletic, incredibly well-minded, and the kind you genuinely enjoy having around.
